Achieving Goals

Time for a check-in! Every month, I detail some of my goals and the progress I’ve made on them. Here, I focus on the most immediate goals – the ones I want to accomplish within the year. While some long-term goals may show up in one form or another, I focus on the individual milestones each goal in these posts. I’ve divided my goals into six major groups here, even though I usually use more, specific groups when I write down my goals. For each one, I’ve written my overall progress and progress since the last month. I encourage you to write down your goals as well and start tracking your progress on the things you want to change each month.

What’s Changed

A lot has happened in the last month. I’ve changed jobs, I launched the podcast, and I’ve been reading a lot again. Due to all of the things changing this month, though, I’ve slipped on some of my other goals – most notably: losing weight. Due to the new job (and my commute), I’m finding it hard to fit in time for exercise. I’ll need to join a gym near my workplace, but both my job and I may be moving in a few months, so it’s hard to pin down a good location.

As for the podcast, the first two episodes are now available! You can listen to them below. The podcast will be available on this site, Youtube, and iTunes to start. The best way to listen is by subscribing to the show’s feed using your preferred podcast app or by visiting www.onesmallsteppodcast.com. Episodes won’t appear on the blog or Youtube until a week after they appear on the iTunes feed. Meanwhile, if you’d like to hear an episode on a specific topic, email onesmallstep@masterlevelsuccess.com

Last, I’m gearing up to start planning for my next large project: writing a book. I talk more about this in episode two of One Small Step. That’s all I’ll say for now. You’ll have to wait or join the newsletter for further updates.

Want to get more specifics on what I’m doing to accomplish my goals, meet my financial targets, and more? Join the newsletter to keep track!
