Evernote – Evernote is an incredibly powerful note-taking and organization tool. It’s simple to use, can record any kind of note, and is available on virtually any platform. It integrates with many other apps to enhance your productivity. Use it to take notes, store drawings or photos, store business cards, create presentations, and more. Evernote is the #1 productivity app I use every day.

Trello – Trello is great for organizing your tasks by category and level of completion. Its simple design is intuitive, which makes it so much easier to get stuff done. After using it for a short time, I already can’t live without it, and I get more done much faster.

1Password – This is a useful app for managing all of your passwords. As more of our information moves online, it is important to do whatever we can to protect it. You’ve probably heard that you need a more secure password before, but managing all of them is a pain. 1Password helps you store all of your passwords with ease (leaving you only one password to remember) and keeps all of your valuable information secure.

Google Calendar – Google Calendar is Google’s service for scheduling and task management. It’s a great option for anyone looking for a way to manage their schedule across multiple devices without having to use a physical planner. I personally prefer Google Calendar, but Outlook’s calendar is also on par.

Google Drive – If you’re looking for some online storage space, Google Drive is a great place to start. All you need is a gmail account and you can get 15 GB of free storage space! If you need more, there’s paid plans which is comparable or better than its competitors. Their 100 GB option for $2/month is especially useful for someone who needs more space but doesn’t need as much as 1 TB.

IF – IF by IFTTT is an app that automates tasks for you. After you connect your apps/accounts to it and create recipes, IF will carry out the commands you gave it each time an action triggers the recipe. This is great for streamlining those repititive tasks that you don’t like.

Best Decision – If you have trouble making decisions, this app is for you. Best Decision helps you make decisions by making you list your options and judging criteria and makes you rate each option. In the end, it will rank your options based on your answers and tell you why it’s the best decision for you.

Committo3 – This app helps you get things done by making you focus on 3 important tasks each day. It connects you with your friends using the app, and once someone finishes a task, it notifies your network to keep everyone motivated.

Simple Mind+ – This is a great tool for brainstorming ideas. I find that occasionally creating a map helps to work through and organize certain ideas. The layout is clean and simple, which is one of the things I like most about this tool. You can easily add in notes and connect it to another, move the connections with ease, and add in more dynamic content like images or video. What you make is also shareable, though it’s not collaborative, so you can’t edit the same file with someone else.

Bottomline – This app is great for anyone with a small business or who is involved in sales of some sort. As anyone in these professions know, tracking your sales and client interactions is important, especially as you gain more customers. This app makes that easy for only $25/ year.

Godaddy Bookkeeping – This service is useful for people trying to organize spending from multiple accounts and sources. It’s a simple and cheap ($8/mo) option for tracking finances when compared to the competition.
